Working for a team like the one at Crescon is a joy. Everyone is responsible for themselves, so there is no need to give out orders and keep tabs on anyone. Exchanges of information are quick and decision-making procedures are smooth. As we are not a large company, we do not get bogged down by the processes typical for corporations. That is something we are very thankful for. In our view, this is what enables us to build exemplary projects for our clients.
Jan is the company’s executive director. He is mainly responsible for business management, for the sales department, and for communications and relations with clients, neighbours, authorities and contractors. He is constantly thinking up lots of big and small projects, which heaps extra work on the already busy Radek, Hana, Martin, Jan, architects, lawyers, accountants and other people who work with the company.
Radek is Crescon’s financial director. He is responsible for managing finances and project financing, and is in charge of the entire economics and accounting department. In addition to financial management, he has years of experience as a civil engineer. His impeccable knowledge of all risks in the investment process means he is able to anticipate them in advance. His prudence is an important counterweight to Jan’s animation.
It is hard to imagine Crescon without Hana. She always knows everything that is happening at the company, and is in contact with clients and contractors alike. She makes sure that documents, whether printed or electronic, are kept in order and we are all grateful to her for keeping everything shipshape.
As our technical director, Martin is responsible for project preparation and construction. He doesn’t say a lot, but when he does speak you know he has something important to say. He has a truly deep well of professional experience and we are all constantly learning from him.
Monika is the company’s chief accountant. She gets on with the job so single-handedly that, were it not for the tax returns that I have to sign from time to time, I wouldn’t even notice that we maintain the accounts of so many companies. She is also a conscientious guardian of the many papers and documents that I know would be lost if placed in my hands. Monika has been keeping a close watch on them for me for nearly two decades.
